Hi, My name is Scott Meager.
I started drawing at the age of six, and felt like I should add colour with paint to my pictures, but instead I procrastinated for many years.
But one day, I woke up with a part of myself yelling at me to buy a canvas, a brush and some paint, and just start painting. I always look for what I’ve done wrong in my paintings, or what could be improved from there, and still do, with EVERY painting I create. I aspire to always make the next painting better than the last, and I always learn from my mistakes so I can becomes wiser with how I create things.
After completing only a few paintings I was told I should consider selling them, something else I procrastinated about for a while and I eventually did. I found I had other people valuing my art more than I did , which I am so grateful for, as many people have taught me how little I valued myself, and in many ways still do, and they continue to teach me more self worth.
I put a lot of effort into creating the highest quality art I can create, and in every painting there is deep symbolism and meaning. There is no painting I have created that has no meaning behind them.
I have learnt that we all learn in many ways, and visualisation is one of them. Having art in our lives brings out different perspectives, and with my art and the symbolism I put into each painting, I find myself learning and understanding deeper parts of myself, and I’ve had many people say they feel the same way.
If you’re interested or have any questions around my art, feel free to send me a message through my email: ScottsEsoterArt@gmail.com.
